This is a video on YouTube, that I found on Facebook, by ‘The Mighty Site’ titled “Things About Anxiety Nobody Talks About”

As someone who wants to blog and leave a footprint on the world, it only seems right to share strong messages of positivity. I do not consider myself selfish and am more than honoured to be in a position where I can share the work of another person that reflects all that I believe. 'The Mighty' YouTube channel can be accessed here.

Although my posts leading up to this have been about specific moment of negativity in a person's day, I should also say that they apply to those who struggle to shake those negative feelings on a day to day basis. Specifically, people with depression and other mental illnesses. This specific post is about anxiety.

I’m sharing this for all of the people who are too anxious to let the world know what anxiety is like. I myself have wrongfully expected too much from certain people in my life when it hasn’t been accomplishable for them. This is because I mistakenly thought they dealt with things, came to the same conclusions, and wanted the same turn-outs in life as I did. Wrong. Everyone is different, and everyone suffers differently.

This is all too true, and it’s about time people acknowledge that anxiety is not something we wake up with one day and wake up without another. It may appear dormant and then strike at the best of times. It may be there from the moment we open our eyes at the crack of dawn, but be hidden behind a smile until the sun sets. It is an illness. People don’t choose to have it, and it can’t be cured by the tap of a doctor’s magic wand. Each day can be a struggle and a half, but each day is worth it, I promise. And as I said earlier, not a single day is 100% bad.
