I truly believe in searching the misunderstood rock bottom to uncover positives which lay undertake debris of negativity.

For example, a previous amateur post of mine on another social media read that I had big plans to spend my day spring cleaning. Uni, on the other hand, had other plans. Assignment plans. Plans due at 5pm. Which would have been fine if it wasn’t already 1pm when I finally rolled out of bed.

Well, sh*t.

So, tell me this... Can deterring from your plans have a positive effect? You bet your bottom dollar it can! Even though it can feel dissapointing not following a timeline you've set for yourself, let this minor example guide the outlooks on the rest of your life:

Not cleaning and having my whole day flipped upside down = winning!?

So yeah, I didn't tidy the hell hole that was my bedroom. BUT because I didn’t do that, I managed to start, finish and submit a statistics assignment in 4 hours. That’s way more of an accomplishment than making my living space actually liveable... Right?

Side note: I'm actually a decent human being now who cleans as they (mostly), hallelujah!

A x
